Completing tasks

Items listed under the tasks section are things we really need you to do, often by a particular date, in order for your matter to progress to the next stage in a timely manner.

Due date

The due date countdown is labeled on the task listing and also at the top of the task detail page. It’s important you complete the task by the due date as quite often these are blocking your Conveyancer from moving onto the next step.

Completing a task

Once you have completed whatever the task asked you to do, you must ‘Complete the task’ within the zettle interface so your Conveyancer is aware it is complete.

Follow the button and from there you will be asked to complete a chat message. Some tasks will require a written response from you and others will allow you to simply send the chat message without writing anything.

Ask a question

If you are unsure of how to complete a task, have a question or don’t understand, please click the ‘ask a question’ button at the bottom of the task detail page. This will start a chat in the chat section that is specific to the task at hand, so your Conveyancer can more easily respond to the issue..
