Settlement Process
Sellers

What is a pre-settlement inspection?

The buyer has the right to inspect the property before settlement to ensure its condition hasn't changed since the contract date. Cooperate with the buyer to facilitate this inspection.

What are my obligations regarding keys and security codes?

You must deliver all keys, codes, and security devices to the buyer on or before settlement. Failure to do so could allow the buyer to terminate the contract.

What does "vacant possession" mean?

Vacant possession means the property must be empty of all occupants and personal items by the time of settlement, allowing the buyer to move in immediately.
